The sick germs have hit our house this week...
just what everyone wants right before their baby is due right?!
I'm trying to quarantine Kenji and the girls so I don't get it, but it's tough since we all share everything... they are so sick!
and I've started getting regular contractions which makes things even more exciting.
I had a couple weeks of early labor with the other kids so this could go on for a while yet... or maybe not. You never know.
Give us another week to get rid of these pesky germs ok baby?
Plus I have piles of projects all over the house that I've been working on. Because when you're about to have a baby you just feel like you need to pull out all the boxes of photos from storage and organize them into archive folders. And sew a new quilt for your daughter. And reupholster something... once I start that stuff, that's how Kenji knows we're about to have a baby!
So this week I plan on finishing
all the projects, prepping for baby
nursing the sickies back to health
and spending some quality time with my little family of 5 before we become 6. I love love love this phase. I want to keep these little ones this way forever!
We're linking up for embrace the camera today, even though I am super tired and we're not feeling our best... I love being able to look back and know what our life looked like on days like this. These are the days of our lives as they would say!

Oh gosh that picture of Akemi, she is too precious!! Sorry you guys are sick!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos. My nesting has begun... and my list is long. Re-upholstery?? Wow I am so impressed. I hope the sick bug take their leave and fast.
ReplyDeleteoh man, we all got sick right before olive was born. for about a month my kids were passing sickness back and forth. i was like a flippin' wreck...thinking that the new baby was going to get so sick...but once she was born, my kids didn't get sick for like 3 months...so, maybe it was a good thing that they got it when i was still prego.
ReplyDeletehope y'all feel better soon!
sickies be gone! sending healthy and happy birthing vibes your way!
