these days

Life these days is pretty full. Full of oohing over the little baby. Full of painting and drawing and playing to our hearts' content. Eating ice cold popcycles on hot summer days. Hanging with friends. Listening to music. 

The heat has finally hit the northwest and we are loving the sunny weather. Though Kenji tells me I'm the only one who likes it to be 85 degrees inside the house. What can I say? I love it! We had about 8 days where it was just rainy and yucky out and we all sat around and watched way too many movies, so yes, I'm loving the weather.


We spent the 4th of July at home as Naomi was sick and I injured my knee... so that was kind of a bummer. You know you're getting old when you're climbing into bed before the fireworks are even going off. And when you're like "I'm going to do something fun! like categorize things in my Quicken program..." That's living on the edge!


Naomi lost her 3rd tooth last week. Third!! And the 4th is going to fall out any day now. I can't believe how big she is. The tooth fairy leaves a quarter per tooth at our house... and now that I'm looking at all of our kids and the amount of teeth they will lose... that's a nice chunk of change for them!
